“Breaking the Silence”
Support Postnatal Depression Awareness Week 17-23 November and wear a green ribbon or donate online and receive a digital ribbon for you to upload to your facebook page.
Proceeds go towards Mothers Helpers working with mums at-risk or suffering from postnatal depression.
What we do:
- Assess and monitor symptoms of depression
- Get a whole network of help and support for the mother and her family including: support group, counsellor, childcare/housework assistance, mentor, and other practical help
- Provide peer support and goal-setting to work towards wellness
You can help by:
- Purchasing a digital ribbon ($1)
- Buying a box of 100 ribbons and selling them at $1ea. ($100)
- Sponsoring a mother with postnatal depression to attend our wonderful Green Ribbon Appeal Launch on 8th November 2012 ($25)
