Single Parents Day March 21st 2017
Did you know that there is an International Single Parents Day? Single Parents’ Day takes place each year on March 21. Mark it on your calendar! Simply put, it’s a day set aside to honor and applaud the hard work single parents do each and every day in raising their children.
Here are a few ideas we can suggest that you can do to honour single parents :
- If you were raised by a single parent, send an e-card or write a letter of thanks on this date
- If you have friends or family that are single parents, encourage their children to make them a card to honour their hard work
- Think about the single parents you know and offer to babysit for them so they can get some time out for themselves
